Games Village ...
The CN Centre connector and the Kin Centres will be a hub of activity during that games and we encourage the public to come down and see the many vendors and services being offered in the Games Village.
Games Village is open the following hours:
- Wednesday September 10th - 9:00am - 9:00pm
- Thursday September 11th - 12:00pm - 9:00pm
- Friday September 12th - 12:00pm - 9:00pm
- Saturday September 13th - 10:00am - 3:30pm

Opening Ceremony: Wednesday September 10th, 2008 - 7:00pm in Kin 1
The Opening Ceremony will feature entertainment from the Excalibur Theatre Arts Company. If you are taking part in the parade of participants please meeting in Kin 1 at 6:00p.m.
Free Seminars : Thursday September 11th , 2008 - 12:00pm - 5:00pm in Kin 1
A series of seminars will take place in Kin 1 at the Games Village September 11th. The Seminars are open to all participants and are free of charge. See below for a list of available seminars.
Prince George Cougars Game : Thursday September 11th , 2008 - 7:00pm at CN Centre
The Prince George Cougars take on the Kamloops Blazers. This special exhibition game is open to all registered participants, registered non participants and volunteers free of charge by showing accreditation badge at the door. Tickets are available for the public at the Box Office in the CN Centre.
Performance by Comedian Herb Dixon: Thursday September 11th, 2008 - 9:00pm in Kin 1
Following the excitement of the Prince George Cougars Game, sound effects comedian Herb Dixon takes the stage at Kin 1 at 9:00pm. There are a few additional tickets available for volunteers and the general public for this hilarious show. Tickets are $20.00 each and available by contacting the games office.
Games Banquet : Friday September 12th, 2008 - Times TBD in Kin 2
Dinner will be served in Kin 2. Dinner seating times are 5:30pm, 6:15pm and 7pm. Suggested participant dining times will be distributed at Accreditation or, check with the Information Booth at Games Village.
Performance by Impersonator Tracey Bell: Friday September 12th, 2008 - 8:00pm in Kin 1
Enjoy an evening with "8 Divas" as reowned impersonator Tracey Bell performs a special show. There are a limited number of tickets available for volunteers and general public. Tickets are $20.00 each and available by contacting the Games Office.
Dance: Friday September 12th , 2008 - Kin 1
Following the Tracey Bell show, there will be a dance featuring local band "The Blues Rock Band." There are a limited number of tickets available for volunteers and general public. Tickets are $20.00 each and available by contacting the Games Office.
Closing Ceremonies : Saturday September 13th , 2008 - 3:00pm in Kin 1
